Sesto Sorelline Cherishing Traditions

 

The inspiration behind Sesto Sorelline came from my travels to Platania, a small town in Calabria, Italy where my parents and grandparents came from.

I wanted to bring back in vogue cherished keepsakes of the past and bring them back into the spotlight. These keepsakes serve as a reminder of simpler times when family gatherings centred around food, gardening, long meals at the table, playing card games, making salami and wine in the winter, preparing homemade sauce in summer, and baking sweet treats during Easter and Christmas.
